  • How do I book an appointment?

  • How often should I get massages?

    • For maintenance, getting a massage once a month is recommended. However, for optimal benefits for your mind, body, and spirit, it is ideal to receive massages at least twice a month.​

  • What’s your Cancellation Policy?

    • Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the session fee. No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full session fee. A credit card is required on file to confirm your booking.

  • Where are you located and where can I park?

    • There is 2-hour street parking or parking in the building with 30-minute validation. We are located at 12626 Riverside Drive, #509 on the fifth floor, accessible through the office of Dr. Bond​.

  • What are the benefits of massage and bodywork?

    • Massage and bodywork can reduce stress, alleviate pain, improve circulation, enhance flexibility, and boost overall well-being. Specific benefits can vary based on individual needs and conditions.

    • As a massage therapist, my role is to provide suggestions and recommendations based on your individual needs and preferences. However, please understand that I am not licensed to diagnose or prescribe treatments for medical conditions. If you have any health concerns or underlying medical conditions, I strongly recommend consulting with your doctor or a healthcare professional. They can provide you with a proper diagnosis and prescribe any necessary treatments to ensure your well-being.

  • Are there any medical conditions that would make massage or bodywork inadvisable?

    • Certain medical conditions may make massage inadvisable. If you've recently undergone a medical procedure or have health concerns, please consult your physician and inform us. We may require a doctor's clearance in some cases. I can only suggest, I cannot diagnose or prescribe.

  • What are your Policies?

    • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to update your intake form and discuss which massage modalities will best suit you.

  • Will the therapist be present when I disrobe? Will I be covered during the session?

    • The therapist will leave the room while you disrobe, ensuring your privacy. My draping is conservative and you will draped at all times to keep you comfortable and warm. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian must be present during the session.

  • What parts of my body will be massaged? 

    • We will discuss which areas you’d like to focus on before your session. You may also fill out an introductory intake form and a day-of form to specify your needs.

  • What should I do during the massage or bodywork session?

    • You will be guided through breathwork and encouraged to express any emotions and be present during the session to ensure you are in a safe and comfortable space.

  • What should I do after my massage or bodywork session?

    • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and try to take it easy for the rest of the day to maximize the benefits of your session.

  • Are you a Licensed/Certified Massage Therapist?

    • Yes, Heather is a fully licensed and certified massage therapist with over 1400 hours of experience.
